Moving Image

Like with sound, I create moving image collages of motion, textures, patterns and atmospheres. I use machines, mechanisms, various analog equipment and anything interesting to explore themes around memory, nostalgia and sound experience. I love to use familiar objects and make them unfamiliar through simple in-camera effects, stop motion and macro lenses. My films are always directly related to sound, whether exploring how we understand sound through image, responding to experiences of sound, or experimenting with traditional or unusual sound and image workflows in production.
